The first Samsung smart speaker i.e. Galaxy Home was announced alongside Galaxy Note 9 in 2018. The actual launch was delayed on multiple occasions and it was eventually canceled. Samsung's attempts at releasing a smart speaker were powered by Bixby's digital assistant. It is unknown whether the upcoming model will also have Bixby or some other assistant like Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
