Apple's new iPhone SE for 2022 is now rumored to launch as the iPhone SE+ 5G. The latest rumor is coming from Ross Young, a DSCC research analyst who has a reliable track record when it comes to Apple's future plans. He further added that there is a 5.7-inch model under works as well but it will not launch earlier than 2023.

The iPhone SE+ 5G is claimed to be the official name for the iPhone SE (2022) that we have been hearing reports about for a long time. All specifications are features are said to be the same as those previous leaks. It means we will have the same design as the current-gen iPhone SE i.e. big bezels and Touch ID. The display will also remain unchanged at 4.7-inches.

The biggest difference will be the use of a newer and faster A15 Bionic chipset. The new model will also have 5G connectivity that will make the whole iPhone family 5G compatible. It should also boot the latest iOS 15 out of the box. There are speculations that the affordable iPhone will launch sometime around March or April.

Young has further tweeted that the fourth-gen iPhone SE will arrive with a bigger display. We heard that it could be either 5.7-inch or 6.1-inch but the new leak claims that it is set to be 5.7-inches. This bigger iPhone SE is widely reported to launch in 2024 but Young says it could get official as soon as 2023.
