Samsung has taken wraps off the Galaxy Book 2 series at MWC 2022. It features Galaxy Book 2 Pro and Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 but also has a new member i.e. Galaxy Book 2 Business. The new models come with a number of improvements over the previous generation from the last year. The biggest change is obviously the usage of the latest 12th Gen Intel Alder Lake CPUs for faster and smoother performance.
The Galaxy Book 2 Pro will cost you $1,049.99 for the entry-level variant. It will be up for pre-orders on March 18th with an option to choose between Silver and Graphite colors.
The Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 will be sold in Silver, Graphite, and Burgundy color options. It is priced at $1,249.99 for the base model and will go on pre-orders from March 18th.
The Galaxy Book 2 Business marks Samsung's entry into the business and enterprise space. It is the market where it will compete with the likes of HP EliteBook and Lenovo ThinkPad. Its model sports a 14-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) anti-glare display to make it a better choice for the working environment. The buyers will get to choose between Intel vPro 12th Gen Core i5/Core i7 and 12th Gen Core i3/Core i5/Core i7 processors. The graphics options include Intel Iris Xe, Intel UHD, and NVIDIA GeForce MX570 A.
The laptop comes with 8GB of RAM (up to 64GB supported) and 256GB onboard storage (up to 1TB). It will have WiFi 6E but the European variant will also offer a 4G LTE option. The battery capacity is measured at 51.5Wh. Other features include a fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port, two USB Type-A ports, Thunderbolt 4 port, an HDMI 2.0 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
