Oppo has officially detailed the Reno 7Z 5G smartphone a day ahead of its launch in Thailand. This is the newest member of the Reno 7 series that includes Reno 7 and Reno 7 Pro. It is aimed at an affordable price point as compared to the other two Android flagships that are priced on the expensive side.

The Oppo Reno 7Z 5G sports a 6.43-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED punch-hole display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It will offer 600 nits of peak brightness, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 97% NTSC/93% DCI-P3 color gamut, and 409ppi pixel density. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor with Adreno 619 GPU. It is available in a single configuration of 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage.

The triple-camera setup on the back includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. There is a 4,500mAh battery to keep the lights and is supported by 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. There is a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture housed inside the punch-hole.

The phone will boot ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box. The Oppo Reno 7Z 5G pricing and availability details will be revealed at the launch event tomorrow. We will update the article soon after it becomes public.
