Sony Xperia 10 IV renders leak shows familiar design with bezels

08 March 2022 0

Sony seems to have at least a couple of smartphones ready for the launch. It was just last week we heard about the Xperia 5 IV, it is now reported to be working on another phone called Xperia 10 IV. The leak is coming through a collaboration between tipster @OnLeaks and online publication Zoutons. It offers a bunch of renders showing the design as well as offer some details about features and specs.

In first impressions, the alleged Xperia 10 IV looks a lot similar to last year's Xperia 10 III. The phone continues to have a tall display with noticeable bezels on the front. Sony has not opted for a notch or punch-hole as we have seen with almost all other major OEMs. However, these top and bottom bezels appear to be slimmer than the previous model and it has a flat frame as compared to rounded edges.

The back panel has the same rear camera module design as the soon-to-be predecessor. It still has three cameras housed inside the module. There is Sony branding in the center and Xperia branding towards the bottom. The phone is shown in White color but it will also have Black, Berry Blue, and Mint Green colors.

The Xperia 10 IV is reported to sport a 6-inch flat OLED display of unknown resolution. The choice of processor is said to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 which is an octa-core chip. There is expected to be 6GB RAM available with 128GB storage space but we may see more configuration variants.

The triple rear camera setup is said to have LED flash, HDR, and panorama support. The battery capacity is tipped to be 4,000mAh and with USB Type-C charging. Other important reported features are a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and dual front-facing speakers.
