Samsung has officially debuted the Galaxy F23 5G as its new mid-range 5G smartphone in India. The phone is a direct successor to the Galaxy F22 from the last year. There are a couple of major improvements in the new model that make it worthy of the upgrade. The major improvements are related to the processor and display refresh rate.
The Galaxy F23 5G sports a 6.6-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD notched display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor that brings 5G connectivity to the phone. There are 4GB and 6GB RAM options but with a single 128GB storage choice. It also has microSD card support for storage expansion.
The triple rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary Samsung ISOCELL sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front camera on the device is an 8-megapixel sensor housed inside the notch. The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
Other noteworthy features include a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, and WiFi. The phone will boot One UI 4.1 based on Android 12 out of the box. Samsung has priced the Galaxy F22 at INR 17,499 for the 4GB/128GB variant and at INR 18,499 for the 6GB/128GB variant. The available color options include Forest Green and Aqua Blue.
