Sony has different lineups of smartphones that are aimed at different user bases. One such lineup is Xperia Ace which focuses on compact smartphone lovers. The first-gen Xperia Ace launched in 2019 followed by Xperia Ace 2 release in 2021. It is now reported to be working on the third-gen smartphone offering with a planned launch for this year.
The leak is coming from @OnLeaks in collaboration with Zollege, an online publication. The alleged Xperia Ace 3 can be seen with a boxy design similar to the predecessor. It is reported to sport a 5.5-inch display with no words on the resolution. It will measure 139.7 x 68.6 x 9.1mm which should make it a good option for anyone interested in a compact Android smartphone.
Under the hood, it is reported to have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G processor which means it will not compromise on the performance aspect. The phone will have a 13-megapixel single rear camera which will be accompanied by an LED flash. It will have 6GB of RAM along with 128GB and 256GB onboard storage options.
The whole package is powered by a 4,500mAh battery which will be non-removable. There will be a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer purposes. The leak does not offer any details about the launch date but speculates it to be priced around INR 24,999 i.e. about $327.
