Huawei has launched a new Nova-series smartphone Nova 9 SE. It happens to be the third smartphone in the Nova 9 lineup that already includes the standard Nova 9 and Nova 9 Pro. The phone is packed with specifications and features that make it a good value for money proposition.
The Nova 9 SE sports a 6.78-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) TFT LCD notched display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor with Adreno 610 GPU. It has a single configuration featuring 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. There is microSD card support for storage expansion purposes.
The quad-camera camera setup includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera on the phone is a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture for taking selfies and attending video calls.
The whole package is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 66W Huawei SuperCharge fast charging. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It will boot Huawei's custom EMUI 12 based o Android 12 out of the box.
Huawei has listed the Nova 9 SE available for pre-orders in Malaysia. The exact pricing is unknown but can be booked by a booking amount of MYR 20. The color options include Midnight Black, Pearl White, and Crystal Blue.
