Xiaomi has debuted a new budget smartphone Redmi 10C in Nigeria. The phone comes with specs, features, and design that you would expect from an entry-level offering. The back panel of the phone is made up of plastic and has a glossy finish. It also has a big square-ish camera module with Redmi branding.
The Redmi 10C sports a 6.71-inch notched display with 1500 x 720 pixels resolution. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB onboard storage. There are actually two configuration variants: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 4GB RAM with 128GB storage. The good thing is that both these variants come with microSD card support.
In the camera department, the phone has a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera on the phone is a 5-megapixel sensor. The battery capacity on the device is 5,000mAh but with the standard 10W charging. The phone will boot Xiaomi's new MIUI 13 based on the new Android 12.
The Redmi 10C is priced at N78,000 (about $190) for the 4GB/64GB model and at N87,000 (about $210) for the 4GB/128GB model. The available color options include Green, Blue, and Black.
