Google's next-gen Pixel 7 series of smartphones has started to become a frequent visitor of the rumor mill. The latest leak is coming from Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) through his Twitter account. He has tweeted interesting display details for both Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro models.

Young claims that Pixel 7 will feature a slightly smaller display than the Pixel 6. The phone is said to sport a 6.3-inch display as compared to the 6.4-inch panel on the current-gen model. On another hand, the Pixel 7 Pro is tipped to continue with the same display size and specs as the Pixel 6 Pro. It means we will get to see a 6.7-inch LTPO display with 120Hz refresh rate support on the Pro model.

He further revealed that Google will begin procuring display shipments a month earlier this year. It will kick off from May 2022 which is a couple of months away from now. We should be hearing more details about next-gen Pixel devices in the coming days as we get closer to the launch.

The latest leak falls in line with previous leaks claiming Pixel 7 receiving a smaller size as compared to the current gen. The overall product design is reported to be the same as the Pixel 6 series. The two devices are reported to be codenames Cheetah and Panther. The choice of processor will be Google's own Tensor but the upgraded version.
