Honor is on a launch spree of X-series smartphones this month. It debuted Honor X8 and Honor X9 5G in the last two weeks and now, the Honor X7 is the latest phone to go official. The announcement is currently meant only for the Malaysian market but we may see it become available in other markets.
The Honor X7 sports a 6.74-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) LCD display with a centered punch-hole and 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor with Adreno 610 GPU. The phone is available with 4GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage. It also has support for virtual RAM expansion where up to 2GB of storage can be utilized as virtual RAM.
It has a quad rear camera setup headlined by a 48-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture. The other three cameras include a 5-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. There is an 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture for video calls and selfies.
The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 22.5W SuperCharge fast charging. The phone will ship with Magic UI 4.2 based on Android 11. The phone will be available in Ocean Blue and Titanium Silver color options. Its pricing and availability details are currently unknown.
