Emojis have become an integral part of online conversations. It does not matter if you are talking to someone privately or sharing your thoughts with the world on social media, emojis help people express themselves better. Google is now reported to be testing a new feature that will make it easier to add relevant emojis to your texts.
The feature is said to be called Emojify officially. It is visible in the form of a magic wand icon while using the Gboard keyboard application to type. The icon needs to be tapped when you want to add an emoji. It will add emojis according to whatever you have tapped until you tapped the icon once. It can also be tapped twice which will then add an emoji after every single word.
The report reveals that Emojify will add emojis that are relevant to the text. It means you will not have to spend time looking for an appropriate emoji and then adding it manually. This will particularly be beneficial for those who use emojis frequently, sometimes to the extent of overdoing it.
Since the feature is under beta testing, it is not available for everyone just yet. Google is likely to expand Emojify to everyone in the coming weeks but it may even take months. We will keep you posted as and when the feature goes under mass release.
