OnePlus has made it official that it will launch the OnePlus Ace in China on April 21st. It is a phone that has been making rounds of the rumor mill for quite some time. The leaks claim that it will arrive in India a week after the Chinese release but under the moniker OnePlus 10R.
Alongside the launch event, OnePlus has shared a few OnePlus Ace official renders showing the product design. The back panel has a dual-textured design which makes it look unique. The camera module houses three camera sensors and an LED flash. There is the OnePlus logo on the bottom right corner of the back side. It is shown in Black and Blue color variants.
The phone has a boxy design with rounded corners. It has volume rockers on the right side but OnePlus' signature alert slider appears to be missing this time around. A USB Type-C port can be seen on the bottom and no 3.5mm headphone jack. Unfortunately, the company has not shown the phone from the front side.
The OnePlus Ace is widely rumored to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor. If true, this will make it the first OnePlus flagship phone to feature a MediaTek chip instead of Qualcomm. The phone is further claimed to arrive with insane 150W fast charging support.
