Google's next generation of Android smartphones is expected to be called Pixel 7. The rumor mill has already shared the product renders for both the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. It goes without saying that there will be different upgrades available with the new offerings but if a new leak is to be believed, the camera department is not one of them.
Yogesh Brar, an online tipster, has tweeted that Google is most likely to release Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro with the same camera optics as the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. He adds that sensors may receive some kind of optimization and the rest of the things about camera performance will be handled by software.
It means we will see the Pixel 7 series with a 50-megapixel primary Samsung GN1 sensor with f/1.85 aperture and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The hardware side of things will remain unchanged but it is software-related improvements that are expected to make the camera perform better this year.
We will most likely see the same optics on the Pixel 7/ 7 Pro that Pixel 6/ 6 Pro had.

The other rumors have claimed Pixel 7 to have relatively smaller than the Pixel 6. On another hand, the Pixel 7 Pro is said to have the same display size as the Pixel 6 Pro. This will result in a 6.3-inch and 6.7-inch panel on the two phones respectively. The Pro variant will even have a high refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
