Poco F4 GT brings Snap 8 Gen 1, 120W fast charging for EUR 599

27 April 2022 0

Poco has globally debuted a new gaming smartphone named Poco F4 GT. The phone is a direct successor to last year's Poco F3 GT and is a rebranded version of the recently released Redmi K50 Gaming Edition.

The Poco F4 GT sports a 6.67-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel supports 480Hz touch sampling rate, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, and a punch-hole in the center. The phone is powered by Qualcomm's Snap 8 Gen 1 processor coupled with 8GB and 12GB of RAM. The onboard storage options include 128GB and 256GB.

The phone comes with Poco's LiquidCool Technology 3.0 which features dual vapor cooling chambers. The chamber size is said to be 170% larger than the ones used for the predecessor. There are magnetic pop-up triggers on the side that should improve the gaming experience on the smartphone.

The back panel features a triple camera setup headlined by the 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor. The other two cameras include a 120-degree 8-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The front camera on this device is a 20-megapixel Sony IMX596 sensor housed inside the punch-hole. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, and quad speakers boasting Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support.

There is a 4,700mAh battery to keep the lights on. It is supported by 120W fast charging for insanely low charging time. In fact, it is claimed to offer a full charge within only 17 minutes. The phone will ship with MIUI 13 for Poco based on Android 12. It will be sold in Cyber Yellow, Knight Silver, and Stealth Black.

Poco F4 GT pricing:

  • 8GB/128GB for EUR 599
  • 12GB/256GB for EUR 699
