Motorola's catalog of smartphones for the year has already become bigger but there is no way it is stopping anytime soon. A new 91Mobiles report has emerged detailing that the next Motorola smartphone is codenamed Rhode 5G+. It is said to be known as the Moto G82 commercially and as the codename suggests, it will be a 5G compatible device.
The report makes it clear that the Moto G82 will be a higher-end mid-ranger. There will be a 6.55-inch Full HD+ pOLED display panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 402PPI pixel density. The screen-to-body ratio is said to be about 88% which should deliver an almost bezel-less experience. The leaked render shows a centered punch-hole in the display.
The choice of processor is tipped to be Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G coupled with 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. All three RAM options will come with the same 128GB storage space. There should be microSD card support but the report does not mention anything about it. The rear camera setup will have three camera sensors headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS).
The other two cameras are reported to be 8-megapixel wide-angle and 2-megapixel macro. The front camera will be a 16-megapixel sensor housed inside the punch-hole. There is said to be a 5,000mAh battery along with 33W QuickCharge support. Other important reported features are IP52 rating and a fingerprint scanner embedded into the power button.
