We are getting closer to the timeline when Samsung takes wraps off new foldable devices. These will likely be called Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 and will succeed current-gen Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 respectively. The leaks and rumors have also started to emerge detailing what could be expected from the new foldables.

The latest leak claims that Samsung will use Qualcomm's Snap 8 Gen 1+ processor with both Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. It is coming from Ice Universe aka @UniverseIce who has a reliable track record in leaking details. This particular chipset will likely be an overclocked version of Snap 8 Gen 1 which is already powering a number of Android flagships.

Another leak has revealed possible color options for the next-gen Samsung foldable. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is tipped to become available in Black, Gray, and Beige. However, it is the Galaxy Z Flip 4 that will be an even more colorful offering. It is said to have Light Violet, Light Blue, Gray, and Gold.

Samsung is further expected to deliver camera improvements with the Galaxy Z Fold 4. There is speculated to be a 10-megapixel telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom. The front camera is reported to be a 10-megapixel sensor. We should hear more details about these foldable in the coming weeks as we get closer to the launch.
