Google confirms Pixel 6a India launch, pricing leaked by tipster

It has been a couple of years since Google released a Pixel smartphone in India. The last release was Pixel 4a and it skipped Pixel 5a for the Indian market. Its latest launch is the Pixel 6a went official during Google I/O 2022 just a day ago. Google has now officially confirmed that it will launch Pixel 6a in India later this year.

The announcement was made via Google India's official Twitter account. The tweet only revealed that the Pixel 6a India launch is confirmed but did not elaborate any further. It means we have no official words regarding pricing and availability timeline.

Yogesh Brar, a well-known tipster, has claimed that Pixel 6a will cost around INR 40,000 in India. He is speculating July 2022 timeline for the Indian launch of the smartphone. It means we are only a couple of months away from the launch. It will be interesting to see how it competes with other options in the market.
