Motorola has silently launched the Moto G71s 5G in China. If the name sounds familiar, this is because of the Moto G71 5G that arrived in November 2021. The new model has a lot of similarities with the previous model but brings a few noteworthy upgrades as well.
The Moto G71s 5G sports a 6.6-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED punch-hole display with a DCI-P3 color gamut and support for a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM. There is a single 128GB storage option along with microSD card support.
The back panel has a triple camera module headlined by a 50-megapixel camera sensor with OIS. It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front camera on the phone is a 16-megapixel sensor housed inside the punch-hole for taking selfies and video calls.
The battery capacity is 5,000mAh and comes with 33W fast charging. It further has Bluetooth 5.2, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port, and 4G LTE support. The phone will ship with My UI 3.0 based on Android 12. The Moto G71s 5G is priced at CNY 1,699 (about $255) for the sole 8GB/128GB variant.
