Vivo has officially debuted a new T-series smartphone named Vivo T2x. It is a mid-range device packed with specifications and features that make it a good overall package. It is a direct successor to the Vivo T1x from the last year. There are noticeable upgrades on the latest model when compared to the predecessor.
The Vivo T2x sports a 6.58-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a dew-drop notch. The panel has a 144Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM. There are two UFS 3.1 storage options: 128GB and 256GB.
The dual rear cameras include a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front camera megapixel count has not been revealed yet. There is a 6,000mAh battery to keep the lights on and is supported by 44W fast charging. The phone will boot OriginOS based on Android 12 out of the box. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Vivo has priced the Vivo T2x at CNY 1,699 for the base 8GB/128GB model. It will cost you CNY 1,899 for the 8GB/256GB variant. The color options include Mist Blue and Mirror Black. It will go on sale starting June 6th in China.
