Oppo has debuted the fourth smartphone in the Reno 8 lineup in China. It is called Reno 8 Lite 5G and as the name suggests, it is the most affordable variant in the series. It features toned-down specifications and features as compared to other models. Its main highlights include an AMOLED display and fast charging speed.
The Oppo Reno 8 Lite 5G sports a 6.43-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) display with a punch-hole. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor with Adreno 619 GPU. There is a single 8GB RAM variant but it supports virtual RAM expansion where can get up to 13GB of RAM. It has 128GB of onboard storage with support for microSD cards.
There is a triple-camera module featuring a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front camera on the phone is a 16-megapixel sensor housed inside the punch-hole. The whole package is powered by a 4,500mAh battery that should last at least a day with ease. It is supported by 33W fast charging to help you get a quick refill.
It will run ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 11 out of the box. Other noteworthy features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth v5, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Oppo Reno 8 Lite 5G is priced at EUR 429 for the sole 8GB/128GB model. The color options include Black and Rainbow.
