ZTE Blade A72 5G, Blade A72, Blade A52 budget phones announced

ZTE has launched three new budget smartphones within its Blade series. These are Blade A72 5G, Blade A72, and Blade A52. It is not hard to guess that only the first one is a 5G compatible smartphone. The other two are limited to 4G LTE connectivity. Other specifications and features are in line with what you would expect from a budget device.

  • 6.52-inch HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate
  • MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor
  • 4GB of RAM (additionally 2GB of virtual RAM)
  • 64GB onboard storage
  • Triple rear cameras: 13MP primary sensor, 2MP macro sensor, and 2MP depth sensor
  • 5MP front camera
  • 4,000mAh battery
  • MiFavor 11 based on Android 11
  • Side-mounted fingerprint scanner

The ZTE Blade A72 5G is priced at EUR 199 for the sole 4GB/64GB variant. The color options include Blue and Gray.

ZTE has priced the Blade A72 at MYR 399 for the 3GB/64GB configuration. It will be sold in Skyline Blue and Space Grey color options.
