Xiaomi has announced a battery replacement program for users in India. It is meant to give users an opportunity to get their smartphones' batteries replaced. The announcement was made by Muralikrishnan B, COO of Xiaomi India, through a tweet via his official account.

The battery replacement program pricing starts at INR 499. The exact pricing will vary depending on the smartphone model you have. It will cost more for the expensive model which is expected. The program is beneficial for users who are facing battery drainage issues or any other battery-related problem.

The announcement mentions users only need to visit an authorized Xiaomi service center. They can visit their nearest center to get their battery replaced and get a completely new battery. The program is applicable to both Xiaomi and Redmi smartphone users across the country. The list of service centers can be browsed on the official Xiaomi website to find the one closest to you.

An appointment can also be booked via the Xiaomi Service+ application. You will need to enter details about your smartphone and choose your preferred service center to fix the appointment. Once an appointment is set, you can visit the chosen service center at the preset time and date to get your battery replacement.
