Nothing has been teasing its first-ever Android smartphone Nothing Phone 1 for quite some time. It has finally shared the first look of the Nothing Phone 1's back panel. The official product render has been shared on the company's social media platforms as well as the dedicated launch event page on the website.
The Nothing Phone 1 is shown with a transparent rear panel but with internal components covered with a white sheet. This is meant for aesthetic purposes so that the phone could appeal to the masses. There is a dual camera setup on the back panel housed inside a pill-shaped module. It is quite compact in size as compared to bigger camera modules that we often get to see on modern smartphones.
One can notice the wireless charging coil on the back. This confirms that the phone will support wireless charging but we have no details about the charging speed yet. You can see a few more components along with Nothing branding in the bottom left corner. There are metallic frames featuring volume rockers on the left side and a power button on the right.
The product design is officially described as, "Transparent design, surfacing curved circuits. Made with consciously chosen materials." This is all that we know about the Nothing Phone 1 design for now. The launch event is scheduled for July 12th which is nearly a month away. We can totally expect the company to share more such teasers as we will get close to the event.
