Samsung is one of those OEMs with a dedicated lineup of rugged smartphones. It is called the Galaxy XCover and the latest model available for purchase is the Galaxy XCover 5 which arrived last year. The team has a successor in the development which will presumably be called the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro.
A new leak from WinFuture.de has detailed the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro design in all its glory. It has shared a bunch of renders showing the phone's design from all possible angles. The phone has a notched display where the notch is dotted-shaped. There are bigger bezels and edges that feel like a protective case.
The phone has a dual rear camera setup where sensors are aligned vertically. It has volume rockers and a power button on the left side. There is Samsung branding towards the bottom of the back panel. The phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C port, and SIM card tray. It is unknown whether there will be a dual SIM variant.
There are speculations that the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro will have a a user-removable battery. It has become very uncommon for smartphones to come with batteries that can be removed easily. The leaked renders suggest that we are getting closer to the official launch but there are no details on the release date yet.
