We know that music streaming services offer a recap of users' music listening habits towards the end of the year. It is a trend started by Spotify Wrapped and adopted by many other players. YouTube Music is one of those adopters but it is also taking those summaries to a new level. It is taking a seasonal take on these insights instead of keeping them limited to an annual custom.
YouTube Music has announced Spring Recap for all of its users around the globe. It is a recap that will offer music insights from the last season to users. It is exactly similar to those annual recaps but is based on what you listened to during the last season. It will be accessible directly from the home screen of the app. You can also tap on your profile picture and then choose the Your Recap option to check your insights.
The first slide will show your top artist, top song, and total minutes listened for spring. You can further check detailed insights about your top spring songs, top spring artists, and top spring genres. There is also a personalized playlist of your top 50 played songs during spring 2022.
YouTube Music further offers a number of playlists based on the general interest of its users during spring. These playlists are spread across various categories and genres. The Spring Recap is available for both Android and iOS users through the smartphone app. For some reason, it cannot be accessed via the official YouTube Music website.
