Realme has debuted the Realme Q5x as its newest Q-series smartphone in China. It is the fourth phone in the lineup to release this year. It joins Realme Q5i, Realme Q5 Pro, and Realme Q5 which went official two months ago. It is the most affordable offering in the whole series and has entry-level specifications.
The Realme Q5x sports a 6.58-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a dotted notch. The panel offers up to a 90Hz refresh rate and 400 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimesity 700 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. There is a single 64GB storage but microSD card support is available for storage expansion.
There is a dual rear camera setup featuring a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera on the phone is a 5-megapixel sensor. It features a 5,000mAh batter with support for 10W fast charging. The phone will boot Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 out of the box.
As for the pricing, the Realme Q5x will cost CNY 999 (about $150) for the sole 4GB/64GB configuration model. The available color options include Ink Cloud Black and Star Blue. The pre-orders already live in China with sales starting June 23rd.
