The last time Motorola launched a foldable was in 2020 which means a successor is undoubtedly long overdue. We have been hearing rumors about the alleged Motorola Razr 3 for quite some time. It is said to be codenamed "Maven" and some of the leaks have shed some light on what to expect. It is now time for a fresh leak that talks about its battery life.
As per Digital Chat Station, a well-known Weibo-based tipster, Motorola's third-gen foldable Razr 3 will have the same battery capacity as the Razr 5G (2020). This means there will be a 2,800mAh battery inside the phone. While this battery size itself is smaller in capacity, it feels even smaller considering other upgrades that are reported to be coming to the table.
The Razr 3 is reported to come with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. It will be a proper Android flagship device which will be a first for a Motorola foldable. The company has opted for a mid-range chipset for all its models so far. The display size is tipped to be 6.7-inch which will be bigger than the 6.2-inch display on the previous model.
The display panel is also expected to have a 120Hz refresh rate which will be power-consuming. There are reported to be three configuration options: 6GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB. The phone will boot Android 12 out of the box and will likely get Android 13 upgrade as well.
