Asus ROG Phone 6 render leak shows the phone, snap-on fan accessory

28 June 2022 1

Asus ROG Phone is the most popular gaming smartphone lineup around the world. It debuted in 2018 with the release of the original ROG Phone and currently, we have the fourth generation i.e. ROG Phone 5 series. The company is now preparing for the launch of the newer ROG Phone 6 which will become official in the coming days.

Ahead of the release, well-known tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) has collaborated with 91Mobiles to share ROG Phone 6 product renders revealing everything in detail. There are a few changes to the phone's design but it continues with the overall gaming smartphone design approach. It is a phone that you will be able to recognize even among other tens of other phones.

This year's ROG Phone will also come with a snap-on fan accessory. It can be used during long gaming sessions and it should help keep the phone's temperature cooler. It will officially be called AeroActive Cooler 6. One can also see the Devilcase Guardian Lite Plus which is a rugged smartphone case.

The ROG Phone 6 is tipped to sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. The phone will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor coupled with up to 18GB of RAM. There will be a 5,850mAh battery to keep the lights on and supported by 65W fast charging. There are no words on the pricing details yet but the launch event is scheduled for July 6th which is just a week away.
