Motorola is rumored to be working on a new flagship since the beginning of the year. The rumors have suggested the internal codename to be Frontier but the commercial name is set to be the Moto X30 Pro. It seems like the company is ready to ditch the Edge branding but is not confirmed yet. However, it has officially teased the camera specifications of the smartphone.
The Moto X30 Pro official teaser highlights focal lengths for each of the three camera sensors. It shows that focal lengths will be 85mm, 50mm, and 35mm for primary, portrait, and telephoto sensors. This is a different approach from what we have usually seen from smartphone brands. It is quite possible that Motorola is aiming to attract serious photographers with this teaser.
The rumored smartphone is widely claimed to be the first one to feature Samsung's 200-megapixel camera. It will be the highest megapixel count camera on any smartphone. It is further expected to sport a 6.6.7-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The choice of processor is tipped to be Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 which is the best one from the company.
The phone will be capable of shooting 8K videos at 30 frames per second. There is said to be a 60-megapixel front camera and a 4,500mAh battery. The fast charging speed is reported to be 125W which is undoubtedly insanely fast. The Moto X30 Pro aka Frontier is confirmed to launch in July but we are yet to hear the exact date.
