Huawei has launched a new mid-range smartphone Enjoy 50 Pro in China. It is part of the Enjoy lineup that has proved to be quite successful in the Chinese market. The company focused on the phone's camera performance, battery life, charging speed, and virtual RAM support during the announcement.
The Huawei Enjoy 50 Pro features a 6.7-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 2388x1080 pixels. The centered punch-hole on the display houses an 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset coupled with 8GB RAM. The storage options are 128GB and 256GB along with microSD card support.
On the back, the Huawei Enjoy 20 SE has three cameras inside a circular camera module. It carries a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP depth shooter with f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera supports 10x digital zoom for photos, 8x zoom for videos, and up to 1080p video recording.
There is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 40W fast charging to keep the lights on. On the connectivity front, the phone supports dual-SIM, 4G, Wi-Fi 80.2.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C port, and there is a 3.5mm headphone jack as well. The phone will ship with Huawei's custom HarmonyOS 2.0 software experience.
The Huawei Enjoy 50 Pro has been listed on the JD.com online store in China. The listing does not mention the pricing yet and it is also unknown when buyers will be able to purchase. It does mention that the phone will be sold in Emerald, Midnight Black, Snow White, and Star Sea Blue color options.
