Samsung has silently listed the Galaxy A23 5G smartphone on its official website. It is a 5G variant of the Galaxy A23 that went official during the first quarter of the year. Both phones are largely similar except for a few differences here and there. It seems like the biggest difference will be in the selection of the processor.
The Galaxy A23 5G sports a 6.6-inch Full HD+ Infinity-V display. It means the panel will have a notch at the top. The official listing does not reveal processor details except that it is an octa-core chipset. Some rumors have suggested that it could be Qualcomm's Snapdragon 695. The phone will have 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM options along with 64GB and 128GB storage variants. It also supports microSD cards up to 1TB for storage expansion.
The back panel has a quad camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The camera on the front is a 5-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture.
The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery. It is unknown whether there is fast charging support. The phone will boot One UI 4.1 based on Android 12. The phone is available in Orange, White, Black, and Light Blue. The official listing does not mention pricing and availability details.
