OnePlus has launched the OnePlus Ace Pro flagship in China. It is the second Ace series smartphone as the lineup debuted earlier this year with the OnePlus Ace. This smartphone was a rebranded OnePlus 10R and continuing with the approach, the newly announced Pro variant is actually a rebranded OnePlus 10T. There are no differences in specifications and features.
The OnePlus Ace Pro sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ (2412 x 1080 pixels) Fluid AMOLED display with a punch-hole and 120Hz refresh rate. The panel supports 10-bit color depth, HDR10+, and sRGB color gamut. The choice of processor is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 with Adreno 730 GPU. There are multiple configuration variants featuring up to 16GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage.
There is a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor with f/1.8 aperture. The other two cameras are an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The phone has a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture housed inside the punch-hole.
The whole package is powered by a 4,800mAh battery with support for 150W SuperVOOC fast charging. It comes bundled with a 160W fast charger. There is Battery Health Engine claimed to reduce battery wear in the long run. The phone offers 5G connectivity, a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.3, and WiFi 6. It will ship with OxygenOS 12.1 based on the Android 12 operating system.
OnePlus has priced the Ace Pro at CNY 3,499 (about $518) for the base 12GB/256GB model. It will cost CNY 3,799 (about $562) for the 16GB/256GB variant and CNY 4,299 (about $636) for the 16GB/512GB variant. The flagship is already available for orders with shipping to kick off on August 15th.
