Motorola's newest foldable Moto Razr 2022 has finally been made official in China. The smartphone was first supposed to launch last week but the event got delayed. It has the same clamshell flip design as we have seen with Razr foldables over the years. It is the first foldable from the company with flagship-level specifications and features.
The Moto Razr 2022 sports a 6.7-inch OLED punch-hole panel as the primary display. It offers a 144Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color, DC dimming, and HDR10+ compatibility. The secondary display on the phone is a 2.7-inch OLED panel which is meant for accessing quick notifications, checking the time, weather, and other alerts.
Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor coupled with 8GB and 12GB of RAM. The storage options are 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. The dual camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization and a 13-megapixel wide-angle sensor. The front camera on the phone is a 32-megapixel sensor.
There is a 3,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Other features include a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth, WiFi 6E, and Dolby Atmos stereo speakers. The foldable will boot MyUI 4.0 based on Android 12 out of the box.
