Vivo has launched two new affordable smartphones: Vivo Y22s and Vivo Y02s. Both of these are Y-series smartphones where one is aimed at the mid-range segment and another is an entry-level offering. None of the two phones is 5G compatible and are limited to 4G LTE connectivity.
The Vivo Y22s sports a 6.55-inch HD+ (1612 x 720 pixels) LCD display with a dotted notch. The panel also supports refresh rate of up to 90Hz. The choice of processor is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 680 and coupled with 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB of RAM. The storage options include 64GB and 128GB. There is virtual RAM support where up to 8GB of storage space can be utilized as RAM.
The rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera is an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture and housed inside the notch. The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. It will ship with Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12.
Vivo has priced the Vivo Y22s at VND 5,990,000 (about $255) for the 8GB/128GB variant. There are no pricing details about other configuration options yet. Its color options are Summer Cyan and Starlit Blue.

The Vivo Y02s will cost you PHP 6,499 (about $116) for the 3GB/32GB configuration. It is available in Black and Blue color options.
