It is less than a couple of months since Asus debuted its latest Android gaming smartphones ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro. It is now ready to announce a new addition to the lineup called ROG Phone 6D Ultimate. It will also be a gaming smartphone but will come with a few differences when compared to the other two models.
The official teaser for the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate confirms it will be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9000+ processor. The other two phones come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The newly opted chipset is claimed to deliver up to 5% higher CPU and up to 10% higher GPU performance than Dimensity 9000. This is the reason the company is touting the device as meant to deliver "peak performance".
Asus has refrained from revealing any other details for understandable reasons. It has been confirmed that ROG Phone 6D Ultimate will get official on September 19th. The launch event will kick off at 8 AM in New York, 2 PM in Berlin, and 8 PM in Taipei. It will be streamed live so that anyone from anywhere can join in and follow real-time announcements.

The ROG Phone 6D Ultimate is expected to continue with the same design and similar features as the ROG Phone 6 series. There will likely be minor differences here and there to differentiate the phone from the other two models. We are still more than two weeks away from the launch. It is quite possible we may get to see more official teasers or maybe even some leaks and rumors about the phone.
