Motorola has launched a new E-series smartphone Moto E22s in Europe. It is packed with entry-level specifications and is aimed at budget segment buyers. It is similar to the Moto E32s that arrived about three months ago. The main highlight of the smartphone is its bigger battery claimed to last for a day.
The Moto E22s sports a 6.5-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) IPS punch-hole display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it has the MediaTek Helio G37 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The phone comes with 64GB of onboard storage along with support for microSD cards.
The phone has dual cameras on the back panel. It features a 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera on the phone is an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 10W charging.
The phone will boot Android 12 out of the box. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Moto E22s is priced at EUR 159.99 for the 4GB/64GB variant. The color options are Arctic Blue and Eco Black.
