Poco has refreshed its M-series of smartphones with the Poco M5. It is a mid-range smartphone with a focus on providing value for money. It comes with a triple camera setup, a bigger battery, a high refresh rate display, and a premium leather-like texture back. It also has a virtual RAM expansion feature for smoother performance.
The Poco M5 sports a 6.58-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) IPS LCD display with a dew-drop notch. The panel offers up to 90Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and DCI-P3 wide color gamut. The choice of processor is MediaTek's Helio G99 which is based on TSMC's 6nm process. The phone is available in two configurations: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. There is a Turbo RAM feature for expanding overall RAM capacity utilizing unused storage space.
On the back, you will get a triple camera module featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front camera on the phone is an 8-megapixel sensor. The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
The Poco M5 will cost you INR 12,499 for the 4GB/64GB model. The second variant featuring 6GB RAM with 128GB storage will cost INR 14,499. The available color options are Icy Blue, Power Black, and Poco Yellow.
