Vivo has debuted a new Y-series smartphone called Vivo Y52t 5G in China. It is a budget 5G smartphone for buyers who want to enjoy the fastest possible cellular internet connectivity without spending a lot. The phone has a design that we have seen with other Vivo series smartphones as well.
The Vivo Y52t 5G features a 6.56-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) IPS LCD display with a peak brightness of 600 nits. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. It is available in two configuration options featuring 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. There is microSD card support up to 1TB for storage expansion.
The dual-camera setup on the phone includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, the phone carries an 8-megapixel camera. It will run OriginOS based on Android 12 out of the box. It includes a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging. Connectivity options include a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi, 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/A-GPS, USB Type-C.
Vivo has priced the Vivo Y52t 5G at CNY 1,399 (about $200) for the 8GB/128GB configuration and CNY 1,599 (about $230) for the 8GB/256GB configuration. There is a limited-time CNY 100 (about $15) discount available on both variants.
