Vivo has launched a new X80 series smartphone called Vivo X80 Lite 5G in the Czech Republic. It is the most affordable option in the lineup that already has the standard X80 and X80 Pro. It has a high refresh rate display and 5G connectivity. There is a long battery to keep the phone's lights on all day.
The Vivo X80 Lite 5G features a 6.44-inch Full HD+ (2404 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED notched display. The panel has a 90Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 1300 nits, HDR10+ support, and 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut support. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor. It is available with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. There is microSD card support up to 1TB for storage expansion.
The triple camera setup on the phone includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, the phone carries a 50-megapixel selfie camera. It will run FuntouchOS based on Android 12 out of the box. It includes a 4,500mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging. Connectivity options include a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi, 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/A-GPS, and USB Type-C port.
Vivo has priced the Vivo X80 Lite 5G at CZK 9,999 (about $439) for the single 8GB/256GB configuration. Its color options include Sunrise Gold and Diamond Black. It is unknown if the phone will be released in other markets.
