Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ renders show new camera design

28 September 2022 5

Samsung is still a few months away from unveiling its next-gen Galaxy S-series flagships. These will likely be called Galaxy S23 as the current-gen offering is Galaxy S22. There have already been some rumors about what to expect next year but for the first time, we have come across renders giving us an idea of the design.

The Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ renders have been shared by tipster @OnLeaks in collaboration with publications Digit India and Smartprix respectively. Both flagships are shown with a bezel-less display featuring a punch-hole in the center. It is the back panel where Samsung is making design changes. It is bringing the Galaxy S22 Ultra camera design to the whole lineup. It means each sensor is protruding out of the back individually instead of being placed over an island.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Renders

The Galaxy S23 is said to measure 146.3 x 70.8 x 7.6 mm which makes it slightly bigger than the predecessor. It is expected to continue with a 6.1-inch display with 120Hz refresh rate. There is said to be a 12-megapixel selfie camera housed inside the punch-hole. There could be Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and a bigger battery.

Samsung Galaxy S22+ Renders

As for the Galaxy S23+, it is also claimed to bigger than the Galaxy S22+ and measure 157.7 x 76.1 x 7.6mm. There are no other details about the phone's specifications and features. We will keep you posted as more information will become available.
