Vivo Y73t featuring Dimensity 700, 6000mAh battery launches

Vivo has debuted a new Y-series smartphone called Vivo Y73t in China. It is a budget mid-range smartphone for buyers who want to enjoy some decent performance for the price they are paying. The phone has a design that we have seen with other Vivo series smartphones as well.

The Vivo Y73t features a 6.58-inch Full HD+ (2408 x 1080 pixels) IPS LCD display with a 180Hz touch sampling rate. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. It is available in two configuration options featuring 8GB and 12GB RAM. Its storage options are 128GB and 256GB. There is microSD card support up to 1TB for storage expansion.

The dual-camera setup on the phone includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, the phone carries an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture. It will run OriginOS Ocean based on Android 11 out of the box. It includes a 6,000mAh battery that supports 44W FlashCharge fast charging. Connectivity options include a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi, 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/A-GPS, and USB Type-C.

Vivo has priced the Vivo Y73t at CNY 1,399 (about $198) for the 8GB/128GB configuration and CNY 1,599 (about $225) for the 8GB/256GB configuration. The top-end 12GB/256GB variant is priced at CNY 1,799 (about $254) in China. It will be sold in Mirror Black, Fog Blue, and Autumn color options.
