Honor has released Honor Play 6C as the third smartphone in the series. It joins the Play 6T and Play 6T Pro devices earlier this year. It is the most affordable phone in the lineup. This means Honor has also toned down on specifications and features as compared to the other two models.
The Honor Play 6C sports a 6.5-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) TFT LCD display with a dotted notch. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Plus processor with Adreno 619 GPU. The phone is available in two configurations: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. There is also microSD card support for storage expansion.
The phone has a dual rear camera setup featuring a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. There is a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture for video calls and selfies.
The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging. The phone will ship with Magic UI 5.0 based on Android 12. The phone will be available in Midnight Black, Titanium Silver, and Aurora Blue color options. It is priced at CNY 1,099 (about $153) for the 6GB/128GB model and CNY 1,299 (about $181) for the 8GB/128GB model.
