Motorola has expanded the Moto G72 availability to European markets. It is a 4G-capable mid-range smartphone that made its debut in the Indian market earlier this month. Its highlights include a newer MediaTek processor, a high-megapixel count camera, and a bigger battery.

The Motorola Moto G72 sports a 6.55-inch Full HD+ (2460 x 1080 pixels) P-OLED punch-hole display. It is a 10-bit panel with 120Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits brightness, HDR10+ support, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor with ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The phone is available in a single configuration of 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB storage. There is microSD card support for storage expansion.

The rear panel has triple cameras headlined by a 108-megapixel sensor with f/1.7 aperture. It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera is a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.45 aperture. The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging.

Other features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, and IP52 splash resistance rating. Motorola has priced the Moto G72 at EUR 260 but exact pricing may vary depending on the country. It will be sold in Polar Blue, Mineral White, and Meteorite Grey color options.
