Motorola's foldable phone for the year Moto Razr 2022 went official in China two months ago. It is yet to get a global launch but we are already hearing rumors about the company's plans for next year. Evan Blass aka @evleaks, a well-known tipster, has tweeted details of what we should expect from the brand in terms of foldable releases.
Blass says Motorola has two different foldable phones lined up for release in 2023. This is different from its previous approaches as it has released only one foldable in a year. The two phones are tipped to be codenamed, Juno and Venus. He is quick to clarify that these phones are different from the upcoming global launch of the Moto Razr 2022 which was codenamed, Maven.
There are gonna be two RAZRs next year: one codenamed Juno, and the other Venus. (The one about to launch, a.k.a. razr 22, is Maven.)

The "Juno" is expected to be a direct successor to the Razr 2022. It will come with the same flip clamshell design that we have seen in the past. As for the second device, not much is known. There are speculations we may see a large screen foldable from Motorola similar to Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 4. Nevertheless, we should hear more details in the coming months.
In other news, Motorola also has a rollable smartphone under development. It showcased a concept rollable smartphone at the Lenovo Tech World 2022 conference. It is a phone that has a 5-inch display in standard size but when a button on the side is pressed, it expands to become a 6.5-inch display panel. The company does not have any plans to release it commercially anytime soon.
