It is time for a new smartphone under the iQOO Neo series. The latest entrant is the iQOO Neo 7 5G which has just gone official in China. It is a direct successor to last year's Neo 6 5G. It continues with the 5G connectivity but brings noticeable upgrades in various areas. The fast charging speed on the phone is even faster than the predecessor.
The iQOO Neo 7 5G sports a 6.78-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) Samsung E5 AMOLED display with a punch-hole. The panel offers a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 1500 nits peak brightness, DCI-P3 color gamut, and HDR10+ compatibility. It also has an independent display chip called Pro+ that handles tasks like frame rate interpolation. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor and Mali-G710 GPU.
There are multiple configuration options featuring up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage. On the back, you will see a triple-camera setup headlined by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V sensor with f/1.88 aperture and optical image stabilization. It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera on the phone is a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.45 aperture.
The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The phone has features like 5G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, WiFi, and a USB Type-C port. The phone will boot OriginOS Ocean based on Android 13 out of the box. It will be sold in Pop Orange, Impression Blue, and Geometric Black color options.
