HMD Global has launched a new 5G smartphone named Nokia G60 5G in India. It is the same smartphone that debuted globally about a couple of months ago. The phone has a high refresh rate, 5G connectivity, and a big battery. There is long-term software support as we expect from Nokia smartphones.
The Nokia G60 5G sports a 6.58-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) notched display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel has a 20:9 aspect ratio, 400 nits of brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. The phone has a single storage option i.e. 128GB along with microSD card support.
The phone has a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture. The other two cameras include a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera on the phone is an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture.
The whole package is powered by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 20W fast charging. The phone will boot Android 12 out of the box. It is assured to receive three years of major OS upgrades. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Nokia G60 5G is priced at INR 29,999 for the sole 6GB/128GB configuration. It is available for pre-orders until November 7th during which buyers will get the Nokia Power Earbuds Lite worth INR 3,599 for free. The phone will be sold in Ice Blue and Black color options.
