Google has finally expanded Play Games for PC to the United States. It is the official tool that brings more than 80 Android games to Windows PCs. It was initially released in January but was limited to three countries as it was in the beta stage. The beta testing is still going on but its availability is expanding gradually.
The latest rollout phase brings the official tool to eight new countries. These include Brazil, Canada, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, the Philippines, Singapore, and the United States. It can be downloaded straight away through the official website with no need to join any kind of waitlist. The game catalog has increased during all these months of beta testing.
Some major Android gaming titles include 1945 Air Force, Blade Idle, Cookie Run: Kingdom, and Evony: The King’s Return. Google says it will keep adding more games with time. The best part of the official tool is that your game progress is saved and synced across devices like PCs, Chromebooks, smartphones, and tablets.
The team has also tweaked the required PC specifications to run Play Games for PC. It is now compatible with a lot of lower-specced machines which was not possible earlier. It now requires users to have 10GB of available storage space (SSD), 8GB of RAM, Intel UHD Graphics 630 GPU or comparable, four CPU cores, and Windows 10 (v2004).
