The OnePlus Nord series has become quite popular among buyers since its early days. It has devices across different price points and one of them is the Nord CE family. It launched the Nord CE 2 5G earlier this year and is now reported to be working on a successor. A well-known tipster @OnLeaks has collaborated with the GadgetGang publication to share specifications details.
The alleged Nord CE 3 is reported to sport a 6.7-inch LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The choice of processor is said to be Qualcomm's Snapdragon 695. This is a different approach as OnePlus opted for a MediaTek Dimensity chipset for the current-gen device. The phone will have 8GB and 12GB RAM variants along with 128GB and 256GB storage options.
There will still be a triple rear camera setup but the major difference will be the 108-megapixel primary sensor. The other two cameras will be 2-megapixel depth and 2-megapixel macro sensors. The leak does not mention the front camera but if we talk about the Nord CE 2 5G, it has a 16-megapixel front camera.
The battery capacity is expected to be 5,000mAh on the phone. It will be supported by 67W fast charging that will help users charge the phone a lot quicker. The users will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner too. OnePlus is expected to launch Nord CE 3 5G sometime during Q1 or Q2 2023 but pricing details are unknown.
