YouTube introduces Live Q&A feature for better interaction during livestreams

14 November 2022 5

YouTube livestreams are a good way for creators to interact with their fans. It allows them to get into real-time conversations where fans also use the opportunity to ask questions. However, it can be an inconvenient experience for creators to pick up questions from all the live chats that keep coming up. This is what YouTube wants to fix with its new feature Live Q&A.

Live Q&A will allow creators to create Q&A sessions where followers can submit their questions. This is said to make it easier to pick questions and manage the rest submitted ones. The feature will be available alongside the Start a Poll option directly from the Live Control Room (LCR). You can get an idea of the feature in action below.

YouTube says the Live Q&A feature will be managed by the same system used for live chat moderation. It means all features like blocked words, hold for review, and reporting messages will work for the Q&A feature. It does mention moderators will not be able to manage questions. Only users with Manager/Editor channel permissions will be able to manage questions. They will be able to check the list of questions, pick questions, remove questions, and more.

The announcement reveals all questions will be shown in chronological order. There is no limit on the number of questions that can be asked but only 200 questions will be shown at a time. It will start making older questions disappear once the aforementioned limit is reached.

I get paid over 190$ per hour working from home with 2 kids at home. I never thought I'd be able to do it but my best friend earns over 10k a month doing this and she convinced me to try. The potential with this is endless. Heres what I've been doing..
:) AND GOOD LUCK.:)

I am making $165 an hour working from home. I was greatly surprised at the same time as my neighbor advised me she changed into averaging $195 however I see the way it works now. I experience masses freedom now that I'm my non-public boss.
